BBIA Over Glaze 06 Peanut Syrup (땅콩당) kept showing up in my feed, so I bought a tube at Olive Young. In the bottle it looks like a muted brown-pink, but the first swipe is much softer and rosier. I tried it alone and over a matte lip color, then swatched one and two coats on my hand to see how much the color builds.
The photos below are hand swatches, so the color may look different on your lips.

What I Paid at Olive Young

I bought the 4.5 g tube for ₩12,000 during an Olive Young sale. The regular price was ₩16,000 when I picked it up, so I was glad I’d checked the sale first. That’s what I paid, not a promise that the same discount will be there when you visit.
06 Peanut Syrup: A Rosy Nude, Not a Dark Brown

Over Glaze has that syrupy, glossy finish I wanted from a lip gloss. The range covers brighter pinks, corals and reds as well as quieter beige and brown shades. I went for 06 Peanut Syrup because the muted color looked easy to wear with autumn makeup without being another plain pink.

The color in the bottle has a soft brown undertone, a little like the skin of a peanut, but it doesn’t come out as a flat beige on me. There’s a rosy side to it that becomes clearer once it’s spread out. I like that it stays subdued rather than turning into a bright pink.
The Applicator

The gloss looks pinker on the wand than it does through the bottle. The applicator isn’t too thick, and its slanted tip was easy to guide along my lip line. I could spread the color evenly without having to work at it, even when I only wanted a thin coat.
One Coat vs Two Coats: Hand Swatches

One coat is sheer enough that I can still see my skin through it. The pink is there, but it’s quiet; the shine does most of the work. I liked how soft it looked, though I wouldn’t buy this shade expecting an opaque nude in a single swipe.

With two coats, the rosy color becomes easier to see, while the finish stays glossy and translucent. This is the version I prefer when I wear it by itself. I also tried a little over a matte lip color. It gave the matte finish a shine that looked good without adding another strong color.
If you like a subtle rosy gloss, one coat is enough. For a bit more color, I would go in twice. Even at two coats it stays translucent, so I wouldn’t pick it if I wanted opaque color. That sheerness is part of why I reach for it.

Where to Buy
I bought mine at Olive Young in Korea. For US readers, I also checked the Amazon listing for shade 06 Peanut Syrup; double-check the selected shade before ordering, since Over Glaze comes in several colors.
