VT PDRN Air Cloud Sunscreen is one of the newer Korean sunscreens I kept noticing because PDRN skincare has been everywhere lately. I already use sunscreen every day, no matter the season, so what I cared about most was the texture.
For my oily-dehydrated skin, sunscreen can get annoying fast. If it feels heavy, greasy, or too white, I know I’ll start avoiding it. I wanted to see whether this one could work as an easy daily SPF, especially under makeup.

Why This One Caught My Eye
PDRN products are everywhere in Korean skincare right now, but seeing it in a sunscreen felt a little different. This one is SPF50+ PA++++, and VT describes it as a sunscreen with ginseng-derived PDRN, so it leans more skincare than a basic outdoor SPF.
I don’t expect sunscreen to replace my serum or moisturizer, but I do like when my morning SPF doesn’t feel separate from the rest of my routine. That was why I picked it up: sun protection, but with a lighter and more moisturizing finish.
Compared with My Previous Sunscreen
Before this, I had been using the COSRX Ultra Light Invisible Sunscreen. I still think that one is a good daily sunscreen because the texture is light and easy, and I talked about it more in my Olive Young sunscreen comparison.
This time, I chose VT because I wanted something that felt a bit more like skincare and sat nicely before makeup. I wasn’t looking for a dramatic tone-up effect or a matte finish. I mostly wanted a sunscreen that would feel comfortable enough to use every morning.
Formula Notes
The box highlights SPF50+ PA++++, niacinamide, and adenosine. In Korea, sunscreen packaging often mentions brightening and wrinkle-care functional claims when those ingredients are included, but I still think of this mainly as a daily sunscreen.
What matters more to me is that it doesn’t feel like a dry, old-school sunscreen. Since I use SPF every day, I like when the formula has a little skincare comfort built in, even if the main job is still sun protection.
The ingredient side also mentions panthenol, ectoin, and hyaluronic acid ingredients. That was the part that made me expect a softer finish rather than something powdery or tight.
For oily-dehydrated skin, that balance matters. I don’t want a greasy sunscreen, but I also don’t want my cheeks to feel dry by lunchtime. This one felt closer to a light moisturizing sunscreen than a silicone-heavy primer SPF.
Tube and Size
The tube is simple and easy to control. The opening isn’t too wide, so I can squeeze out a normal amount without making a mess.
At 50ml, it feels like a standard daily sunscreen size. I usually keep it at home, but it’s small enough to put in a bag if I know I’ll be outside for a while and want to reapply.
Texture and Finish
When I first squeezed it onto my hand, it looked like a white cream, but it didn’t feel thick or pasty. It has that soft cream texture that spreads out quickly once you start rubbing it in.
It doesn’t run like a watery gel, and it doesn’t stay in one heavy patch either. That makes it easy to control with fingers, which I like in the morning when I’m trying to get ready quickly.
As it spreads, it becomes smoother and thinner than it looks at first. I didn’t get that chalky white layer that some Korean sunscreens leave behind, and it didn’t drag across the skin.
The finish feels more like applying a light moisturizer than putting on a separate sunscreen step. It gives enough slip to spread evenly, then settles down without feeling oily.
After it absorbed, the white cast was very minimal on me. My skin just looked a little more even and fresh, not obviously brightened.
Under makeup, it worked well too. I didn’t notice foundation or base products pilling on top, and my skin didn’t get shiny right away. If you want a completely matte sunscreen, this probably won’t be your first pick, but for a lightweight daily SPF with a comfortable finish, I liked it.
Overall, this feels best as an everyday morning sunscreen rather than a heavy outdoor SPF. It is light, comfortable under base makeup, and moisturizing enough for my oily-dehydrated skin without turning greasy right away. The finish is fresh rather than matte, so very oily skin may still want powder on top.
